What bothers me about the current state of video games is that they aren't really geared towards the casual player. I like playing on occasion, but I can't justify a $300 (or more) console and the ridiculous prices for something I don't play that often.
Anyway when I Started playing there were 2 buttons and an arrow key and that worked fine for me!

True enough. The price of games simply just make up for the cost of the consoles they are meant to be played on anyway.
